What's going on? In recent days US vise President Joe Bidden visited Moscow followed by US secretary of Defense Robert Gates, and now Israel prime Minister is in Moscow.........
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is due to arrive in Moscow on Thursday to hold talks with President Dmitry Medvedev. Settling Middle East conflicts and the situation in Libya are on agenda.
"During the high-level talks, the sides will have a detailed discussion of several urgent international and regional issues, primarily the situation in Libya, Egypt, and other countries in the region,” Itar-Tass news agency quoted a Kremlin source as saying.
The source added that the talks are expected to focus on the resumption of Israeli-Palestinian negotiations on international laws and regulations.
Other issues on the table include Russian – Israeli cooperation in trade, science and innovation, energy, agriculture and pharmacy.
According to the source, the forthcoming meeting will provide a “favorable opportunity to confirm a course towards better Russian-Israeli interaction.”
